Description

Allspice has a pungent smell and a hot, slightly spicy taste. The whole grains are used to give flavor to different types of meat (poultry, fish, etc.), soups and sauces, but also to marinated dishes and homemade preserves. Ground allspice is added to sausages, smoked meats, liqueurs, jams and some baked goods.
