Description

How to eat fennel? The stems are boiled or baked like asparagus. Fennel root - dense, fleshy bulbs with a sweet taste - are eaten raw, added to salads and baked goods, made into cream soups, fried, stewed, baked, and then served as a side dish. The root can also be pickled. 
What dishes can fennel be added to? Fennel greens will perfectly complement any dishes where you are used to adding dill and parsley. The stems, which are quite tough, are recommended to be added to soup or stew, and the bulb can be eaten raw, added to a salad; it can be fried, simmered in oil, stewed and baked. Fennel is “friends” with vegetables, cereals, fish and meat.
