Pear Conference is not only tasty, but also healthy. Its fruits contain citric, malic and oxalic acid, which normalize digestion, as well as vitamins C, A and group B. Among the useful microelements one can note the presence of iodine, potassium, calcium, magnesium, copper, phosphorus, iron and zinc. The variety owes its name to the fact that in 1885 it received first prize at the National Conference of British Gardeners in London.
