Often confused with cereals, buckwheat is not part of their family. It is rather related to sorrel, rhubarb (rhubarb) and stevia, being superior to grasses from a nutritional point of view. In buckwheat grains we find almost the entire B vitamin complex (B1, B2, B3, B4, B5, B7), vitamins E, K, but also important minerals (iron, potassium, magnesium, calcium, copper, zinc, molybdenum, phosphorus, boron, selenium), some of them in a significant concentration.
