Strawberry jam tart

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS


1. Cut butter into cubes.

2. Put flour in a food processor bowl. Add powdered sugar, baking powder, butter and mix.

3. Add an egg, vanilla essence and mix a little more.

4. Knead for 3-4 minutes, wrap in cling film and refrigerate for 2 hours.

5. Cut 1/3 of the dough and set aside, roll out the other piece in a circle.

6. Transfer into a baking tray and remove excess dough.

7. Prick the entire surface with a fork, put the strawberry jam and spread out evenly.

8. Roll out the remaining piece of dough, cut into strips and arrange on top of the tart.

9. Grease with egg and bake at 180°C for 25-30 minutes.

10. Allow to cool completely and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
