Strawberry and cream profiteroles

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS


1. Pour water into a saucepan, add sugar, butter and bring the mixture to a boil.

2. Add flour and stir well with a wooden spoon. After the dough has formed, stir for another 2-3 minutes.

3. Remove the saucepan from the heat and transfer the dough into a bowl. Stir for 3-4 minutes or until slightly cooled. Add eggs gradually, one at a time, add vanilla essence and mix.

4. Put the dough into a piping bag fitted with a round tip, pipe profiteroles on a tray lined with baking sheet.

5. Bake in the preheated oven at 190°C for 25 minutes or until nicely browned.

6. Cut strawberries. Pour the sweet cream into a bowl, add powdered sugar and mix until the mixture becomes fluffy and dense.

7. Allow the profiteroles to cool completely.

8. Cut the top and stuff with jam, cream, fresh strawberries and cover with the top of the profiterole. Decorate with powdered sugar.
