Description

In the summer of 1944, Eva Mozes Kor and her family arrived at Auschwitz. Here all its members were separated: the two older sisters and the parents were taken directly to the gas chambers, while Eva and her twin sister, Miriam, were handed over to Dr. Josef Mengele, who became known as the "Angel of Death." At that time, the two girls were only ten years old.
